Why is my map blank?

There are two main reasons.

Firstly you have to switch a layer on to see the prediction points.  Secondly, if you've switched a layer on and nothing appears it's probably because the data is still loading.  You can tell this from a flashing blue dot next to the layer name that's loading.

  1. To switch a layer on, click the layer button first. This is the first icon in the top row looking from left to right.
  2. A window appears which contains all the individual and groups of layers available.
  3. Click on a layer group to unfold it and click again to keep unfolding until you reach the layer you want to display.  In the picture below, we've first clicked on 'Days ahead risk', then 'All & 24 hours', then 'Day +1'.
  4. Finally click a tick box to show the layer.  In the picture it was 'Day +1 / 2am'.
  5. Ensure that the group layers to the individual layer are all ticked.  You can tick a low level layer, but it won't display if one of the higher groups it sits in isn't ticked as well.
